The 76-year-old superstar singer tearfully took to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury for the final UK leg of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
As hundreds of thousands flocked to Worthy Farm and millions watched Elton’s final farewell, fans marked the show as a triumph.
After promising hit after hit, Elton ended up performing a two-hour set with four special guests, but not Dua Lipa and Britney Spears, who were scheduled to perform that night, an insider said.
